Rodents are any mammal characterized by a pair of broad, sharp-edge, chisel-like incisor teeth that are firmly inserted in both jaws and are used in gnawing vegetation. Examples are mice, rats, squirrels, chipmunks, beavers, muskrats, possums, raccoons.
Some species are aquatic, some are terrestrial, and some live in burrows in the ground.
Can chew holes in food packages, walls boxes, furniture and even electric wiring.
Can carry strains of diseases such as Hantavirus that can be fatal to people.
May need follow up treatment especially if mice/rat situation bad. Re-treatment can be weekly, bi-weekly or monthly depending how fast the rodents eat the poison in the bait stations.
Certain rodents are illegal to kill but if they produce holes we will fill them with poison and treat as rats.
But if there are numerous rodents, call our office for a trapper.
